Serious question, How many hits does it take you to determin the ratio of a program?
 

I see a lot of people boasting 1:50 ratio and they only sent like 100 hits.. and got 2 lucky signups...


I think you must send atleast 10k hits to determin an acurate ratio..

10k/day for 2 weeks.

Depends on the hits, if tgp the alot more then say google hits.

5-10k would be enough of good traffic.

10K hits doesn't necessarily determine an accurate ratio, but it's a fair amount of traffic to test a program.

normally I'll send 20k, but if I dont see anything happening in the first 10k I'll send it somewhere else.

2k hits minimum daily for a week..

I never drop a program until I've sent 10k hits

I always wait to have at least 25k to have a good idea :2 cents:

If I don't see sales in the first 500 or so I dump them. Having said that, I filter my traffic very heavily and I send very little to sponsors anyway. I'm used to 1:100 or better and 0:500 is horrendous, I'd pull the plug on that.

you get a good idea if it converts well after approx. 5000 ctr...(tgp) after maybe 30,000 (spread on at least 3 days) you get a more precise number even though ratios varies sometimes drastically depending on what TGPs you are listed for exemple...
