incomplete uploads with CuteFTP HELP!

    incomplete uploads with CuteFTP HELP!

    My CuteFTP and ALL FTP programs have suddenly started only uploading only 90% of all html, php, cgi files. the files simply cut off at about the 90% mark and sit on my servers unfinished.

    - If the the file is <7k it has no problems.
    - I connect through a network in my house and have tried reinstalling the cable modem driver on my other computer.
    - The other computer can upload properly using CuteFTP/ FTP programs?!?!
    - This same problem affects ALL ftp problems i have tried (on my office computer)
    - I have noticed that the uploads com out at the same (wrong) file size every upload (ie. an 83k php file comes out at 77k every time i upload and the file ends at the same point)

    This is so baffling. Can anyone help?

                  Seems server related to me. Try uploading to a completely different server infrastructure... like a freehost or something.

                      I have tried bulletproof ftp and it stops an ~84k file at 65k every time.

                      i have the same problem on multiple servers.

                      i have tried a newer version of cuteftp to no avail.

                                              the answer is in the MTU settings! i donwloaded an internet speed up program the other week and it fucked up the settings so that packets were getting lost in big uploads!!!!!!!
