Went to the bank yesterday to cash it, and sure as fuck i got: "Wow, where did you get this check from ?"

Doesnt sound like a bad thing to me? Why do they give a fuck if you get embarassed by their name?

I wouldn't do business with a bank that was so nosey into my business affairs.

It could cause serious banking problems in some places, embarassment is not the issue.

It's about having respect for your affiliates and their privacy. Not everyone wants the entire world to know what they do for a living.

People who live in small conservative towns don't have such luxuries.

Good point, you bring the bank business by using them so they should just stfu and cash the check.

Bank Of America will close your fucking account for crap like this... they are nosey and do not like adult companies.

I got shit over a Platinum Bucks check the other day, canadian check, chick was about to ask too many questions.

Bank tellers do not need to know anything, but WILL ASK many questions, here in Calif for sure. Places will hassle you.

Well, to clear the air, I have been told by our accounting dept. that we stopped printing this on cheques since February 9...Regardless if you have still recieved these cheques by accident, you should be speaking to your ACCOUNT MANAGER before coming on a public forum to call us all idiots--this is inappropriate, and uncalled for.

Same thing happend with stiffy cash . I got a 70 $ check and never promoted them again

its pointless trying to find a bank where the banker doesnt ask what the cheque is from. i just go with the flow and say its from web design and web marketing and usually they shut the fuck up after that.

hmm..i never realised a bank could shut you down for what you do for a living. It never seems to be a problem here anyway

Don't most sponsors give you the option of getting the money wired directly to your account?

I'm glad I live in Portugal and people dont fuck with my business even if I'm cashing a lot foreign checks and they dont understand how the hell I'm getting them :winkwink:

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but that's right. Bank tellers are not in the position to question the check unless there's a concern with cashing it. Asking what so and so does is a personal question and the tellers shouldn't be getting nosy like that.

Have the sponsor wire your payment after you have made $1000, use the night deposit box instead, tell the bank to fuck off...

Seems like an awful lot of hassle just to get paid. Much easier to send the traffic elsewhere. Problem solved!
