Well
Ibills CMI and join pages don't work if you use Netscape Navigator and / or, a Mac computer. Yet another reason to change to the other processors who have CMIs that work with all browsers and computer combinations ?

SoundMan 04-26-2004 02:43 PM

they also have some cmi issues. scripts on stats are funky

Cindyff 04-26-2004 03:18 PM

Wow what a surprise NOT !!!
They banned so many IP addresses due to the DNS attack i am surprised anyone can get to them.

This is not correct. iBill CMI and Join Pages work with Netscape and Macs. If you have a specific issue please contact [email protected]. You can contact me direct as well. [email protected]. 954-363-4602 or 888-237-1764 x4602.

Our ISPs blocked some international IPs during the DOS attack last week but that lasted less than 1 day. A number of major processors and other financial groups were recently targeted by DOS attacks. Our team worked very hard to minimize the impact to clients as quick as possible. I personally think they did a great job.

iBill having problems again? WTF!!:BangBang:

This is a reply from Ibills Customer service:
I want to first apologize for any inconvienience this may have caused you.

We still have IP address ranges block at an ISP level from the recent attack
by hackers, this is done to protect our buisness, we will return to normalcy
as soon as possible.
We designed CMI, our pay pages, etc to function best with Internet Explorer
in the hahahahahahas operating system, there have been known compatiblity isues
using CMI etc an the Netscape browser for some time, these issues are
generally more exaggerated in the Mac OS.
I would reccommend either Safari or IE 5.5 for Mac.

Thank you so much for your patience in this matter.

If I can be of any further assistance, please let me know.

the only time you ever post here, is to bitch about ibill. do you work for a competing processor (don't bother answering)?

my entire setup runs on mac and unix - signup pages load without issue on both.

CMI and Join pages load from our Macs here in Miami, (OSX, OS9 and G4 laptops). Throughput has been good, even on the day of the DNS attack last week.

So why would customer support reply acknowledging known problems with Netscape ?

If it works for you more power to you. But we have also experience problems with NN7 so she isn't alone in this.

quiet 04-27-2004 08:53 AM

here's a fun clue. this thread was about ibill being down, which, it was not.

:glugglug

doober 04-27-2004 09:02 AM

Actually from my office in mtl it was not accesible whatsoever yesterday.
From home it was, today I can finally reach it again so all is well.
According to what Mark said, they had blocked some international IPs during the DOS attack which is probably why I could not reach them.

So there was a small problem but it didnt affect signups I am sure since I was being blocked from the ibill.com but all paysite join pages loaded fine for me at the same time.

tony286 04-27-2004 09:03 AM

ibill has been very solid for us , keep up the good work ibill :thumbsup

Our oldest Mac in production, a G3, has N4.8/6/7 on it and can load both the join and cmi without problems. I havent run it through the CMI much, just really tested join pages and revshare tracking off of the machine. If you say that you have issues, less power to you then, we just can't duplicate these issues.

Cindy, can you forward that email to [email protected]? I need to find out which service associate sent that message. It is not accurate. My apologies for the confusion. I will make sure it is addressed asap. In the meantime, if you ever get an error message, please screenshot it and send it to me directly.
