Has anyone here put some time into researching the new hahahahahahas xp service pack 2 update?

It looks like it could kill the popup industry which I know the adult industry thrives on. No longer can you use hahahahahahas, etc...

so what is everyone thoughts here?

Pop ups are mostly dead anyway?
- aol ships with popup killer
- earthlink ships with a popup killer
- all other browsers besides IE already have pop up killer built in
- google toolbar
...etc..

Also then what about redirects... like all the traffic that is on tgps, link lists, etc.. basically ALL non clicked traffic.

There will always be some smartarse who finds a way around the popup blockers, like this (turn on your blockers):

Tried it with IE + Google toolbar, Firefox, Netscape and Opera, all supposedly with popups blocked - popup still worked every time...

zone alarm blocked the pop ups

I just checked havesex.to and it didn't work with sp2...

yep the popup blocker with ie is quite amazing it blocks everything i have tried. toolbar didnt.

So stop using popups and start advertising to your visitors the fact that you don't use popups, maybe you can get more people to join.

Didn't do a shit in Opera...
