All the characters are acting weird, and saying things they shouldnt. Is it true that their hahahahahars went on strike? This is gay. The jokes arent funny. They just killed the greatest show of all time. they better hurry up and get their hahahahahars back (assuming thats what happened)

I've noticed a difference too, I watch the old seasons on DVD at night to go to sleep to, and they seem much better than new episodes

I'm talking about the new episode that is on right now. Marge is acting like an idiot. "shut up and kiss me you doomed hunk" this is just dumb. this show sucks.

the current writ-ers/producers suck. they aren't even fans of the show and never really watched it before landing the job. i read an interview with a couple of them and one quote that stuck out was "we just don't want to be the guys who sink the ship".

Some of the new ones seem lame when I first watch them but seem to get better with repeat viewings. The one that was on tonight made me laugh out loud a few a times. I've always been more of a fan of the subtle humor of the show than the stuff they hit you over the head with.

If you count, there's about 100 jokes every 5 minutes in the new episodes. I catch something new everytmie I watch one.

But yah, the classic stuff is better.

I just don't understand why they don't accept episodes from fans...there are some serious die hard simpsons fans out there (myself included) that could still w-r-i-t-e some seriously funny shit.

Yea some of the new episodes are pretty lame. That's what you get when a cartoon series has been on for gawd knows how long. But it's still my most favourite cartoon show :-)

The show has hit its peak a few years ago, it's on the downward slope now. Shame.
