Some Americans should not talk as if they represent the country
 
At the bar last night, we struck up a conversation with an American in town on business. We talked a lot of world politics/issues (prior to getting drunk I assure you). When the comment came up that Americans are violent in nature; this guy said in his deffense, it's due to the over population that the United States faces.

This brought on a bunch of attacking comment of how India, China, Japan and a list of other places were in worse situations when it comes to condensed population in 1 area....the americans response?

"Yeah, but those people aren't surrounded by americans - thats what makes america so violent, being surrounded by americans"....this was worse than anything I've heard Bush say..

America put many dictators in place . Couple genocide were commited after america did something to create it . (pinochet) .

That might happen to Irak if they leave the country . I don't beleive that the governement in place right now is a good to represent the people . Big TV propaganda and shit .

We send children to outdated schools where they do not even learn the basics of handling personal finaces by graduation. Schools with no funds for books but plenty for metal detectors and rent a cops. Then we complain about people living in poverty and off of assistance programs because they where in un-recoverable debt by the time they could of went to college.

We demand large fuel guzzling vehicles, then will complain when the price of gasoline goes up to less than a 1/4 of the cost of our daily starbucks coffee per gallon.

We watch the television hear the sound bytes and believe every huge chunk of rhino shit they want us to. We have no problems sacrificing personal liberties and freedoms for the false sense of security, saftey or prevention.

We do not believe in any personal responsibility and we all are awaiting to scratch off our personal lawsuit lottery tickets the first chance we get no matter how frivilous the case may be.

Simple fact is we as Americans will fight for very little and fall for whatever is sold to us. Our country may act like the warden of this planet but only because it figures that all of us compliant little prison bitches were not that hard to train so the rest of the world shouldnt be that difficult.

America is not over crowded eexcept in big cities.

When I get out of the city I can't find anything for miles.
I drove across the USA Cali to NY and there is absolutly next to no people in the midwest and south in most places.

We could put the whole population of Iraq in Texas and no one would have to move and it still would not be over crowded.

Shit, California has more people than Iraq and a bajillion miles of wide open empty space.

i think part of the american obsession with violence is a vast sexual repression in our culture, due to religious issues, coupled with a violent world.

but that's just one man's opinion. :winkwink:
