The US just offered "10's of millions" in reconstruction money to the city of Fallujah to end the insurgency.

Which makes me wonder...could we have just offered 87 billion dollars to Sadam to set up elections and then move the fuck out of Iraq? We would have saved about 100 million dollars already.
I mean if we are going to buy people off why not by 'em off before we dig a big hole for ourselves.

Damn, the US ghetto should rise up so they can get millions of dollars for reconstruction too. The south Bronx looks worse than Fallujah!!! No shit, S. Bronx got way more burned out buildings.

Actually a bit more saved I would think. Plus I am sure he would of gladly sold his country for much less.

Then irony would kick in and he would have the money to actually buy some WMD's and well the world keeps on spining.

He was offered quite a bit to leave, I don't know how much though.
