Ah you're not gonna get much for those things...
Besides, most girls down there will do more for a shot or a hotel room than a plastic bead. |

But maybe you'll catch a few tourists. *smiles* Just make sure when you're down here not to let anyone walk up to you while you're walking around the French Quarter to clean your shoes or bet you they know the answer to stupid questions. Those guys prey on tourists down here. I've almost kicked a few of them in the head myself telling them to back the fuck off because I wasn't a tourist. :1orglaugh |

You should go check out the Coyote Ugly while you're down too. You could probably get some pretty cool pictures from there. I'm not real sure if they're still there because I don't listen to the radio much anymore, but there use to be a local radio station crew there at night interviewing people that went there. So maybe you'll end up on the radio too if they're still doing that. :Graucho |

I'll even post their webpage so you can look at the map if you want. Looks like they also have pictures of the Coyote girls too. :Graucho http://www.coyoteuglysaloon.com/orleans/index.html |

When you step outside the Marriott on Canal street, start walking left(towards Harrah's Casino and the Canal Place mall.) You'll see a big grey building on the corner across from the Canal Place mall, that's the Customs building. Stay on the side the Customs building is on and walk straight down. You'll see that the street will make this weird "v" and that's when you'll be close to Coyote Ugly. You'll see Tower Records to your right(which SHOULD be on the opposite side or rather across the street from where you're walking. And, PLEASE, be careful while you're down too. There are a lot of bad neighborhoods in New Orleans. If you turn down the wrong street or even walk too far down Bourbon(past all the gay bars) you could find yourself in trouble. Best to stay on the highly populated end of Bourbon street and the tourist friendly areas. You should be fine walking the way I told you to go to Coyote Ugly. Have a great time and take lots of pictures for us! :thumbsup |
I am on my way ...............should be there in a few days !
I made a pit stop in Albuquerque, New Mexico to meet some girls I met in Cancun ! |
The entire state is a shithole. Don't go. Trust me, this will be the biggest mistake of your life.

Though, I just realized that I forgot to tell you that you'd be turning left by the Custom's building and walking straight down. LOL Geez... I'm so use to just walking it I guess when I was picturing it in my mind I forgot to add that part because it's just so natural for me to know to turn there. Sorry about that Hon. Next time I give directions, I'll have to type a little slower and re-read what I typed out a little slower too. It's good that you're not afraid of anything happening, but I read so many stories of tourists turning down the wrong street and getting shot.... Just don't want that to be you, you know? :winkwink: It's not all like that though. There are just streets that are safe and streets that aren't. Unfortunately, you only know which streets are which if you live here... |
yea, keep your wallet in your FRONT pocket, just a word of advice :thumbsup
