FlaskMPEG sucks, what else is there?
 

I have been having a helluva time with FlaskMPEG. It keeps hanging, then not responding. Its a real pain in the ass when you have a shitload of jobs in the queue.

I have tried smartripper, super DVD ripper but those lack a timeline for selecting clips.

Another thing about Flask I hate is that I have to count out the time manually. If I want 10 second clips, I have to count in my head or look at the clock to make my marks. Then I have to load em into vegas to delete the extra time. (this whole process could be skipped if flask showed the clip length.

Any other programs out there that will allow me to select a clip and see exactly how long it is? Then render AVI's right from the DVD?

Please help.

I wish it were that easy bro. I will be watching this thread for an answer.

just installed this one. doesnt let you mark small clips out. at least it didnt seem like it to me.

I think DVDx is good, but FlaskMPEG produces better quality movies (when it actually works the way it's supposed to).

It's fuckin' up a lot.

I know its not my hardware either... I have 1024 MB, 600 gigs of HD and all sorts of other shit i aint never heard of...

i gotta find the developer.. bastard hasnt updated the shit since 02'.

umm are u using winxp. What partition do you have. FAT32 or NTFS

flask is the best, you need more ram, like 2 gig
