"Summer slow-down" affecting you?

cant even take on work until after the first

I notived more template orders and less site orders.
Im not talkin little numbers. im talking 40 - 50 templates more than usual.

Summer slowdown doesn't usually hit designers until June. June 15 - July 15 is the worse period a designer will ever have!!! lol.. or at least that's the way it's been for us the past 3 years. I am determined that yuear #4 won't be like that:-)

Mainstream is filling the gaps where I need it to!

Yeah that seems to be the pattern. But I think the recent jump in templates is site owners stocking up for the summer. Hence less sites being ordered.

blah why are designers so flaky... obviously not all of them but a good portion of them are just not reliable :PP

lol yeah I find these guys that have a great portfolio and cheap prices and are new etc and think outside the box and they always flake out on me :P poor communication, awol etc

I've been asked for templates ... even without a portfolio . A lot lately . It's kinda weird, if everyone buy templates from the same designer, they won't be original and convert anymore.

Overloaded as well. Too many custom design orders and a bit less template ones. BTW, also have a few of non-adult (mainstream) orders.
