Try this one. It will delete all the bullshit installed for your browser. But if you select everything it will also delete all plugins like flash so dont select the plugins you need.

Anyone use it? Boost XP

JL,

Get SystemWorks.

It comes with Norton AntiVirus, Norton Utlities and a lot more.

Why people opt for free, buggy software instead of spending a little cash to protect their PC is beond me.

Try

Spy Bot search and destroy
Ad aware
And after you cleaned up install spywareblaster that will block all new spywares trying to install

Do a defrag once in a while that helps a lot too

titmowse 04-24-2004 12:58 PM

maybe you need a system tweaker or behind-your-back wizard. this one always saves me:

X-TEQ Setup

System Mechanic:thumbsup

When that doesn't work...reformat.

Buy a new drive and mirror what you have onto 1 partition. Make another partition for a clean install and start moving over to it.

When your absolutely sure you don't need any of your old stuff, delete the partition your old install is on then reclaim the space with something like Partition Magic.

This works best if you have a seperate partition for your work, media files, webserver content, backups, etc.:thumbsup
