Luckily I have never checked my sites and found them down with webair. I'm not saying that it doesn't go down but I haven't noticed it.

Webair is one helluva company.

When it comes to techsupport, it seems like you're talking to people who don't really know what they're doing.
Other than that, they actually do have live ppl for support, sometimes. And btw you don't say things like that in a thread when some servers of a hosting company are offline.

I have a dedicated server and my sites have NEVER been down with webair. Not even for 1 minute Any time I need anything, there are at least 5 techs on ICQ that I can shout at and get fixed immediately. If I don't want to type it, I can always get them on the phone.

I was just saying that my sites weren't loading for a few hours. The support just made them loading.

No, but you said support didn't know what they were talking about, you couldn't get them on the phone, etc etc.

And I've never experienced that with webair .

So webair does for me. Never had something to complain about.

the server is down for me , couple of hours already :mad:
no one on online in the live support
and no one answering in the icq, just great :mad:
hope somebody from webair will see it and contact me ASAP

Personally , I think the question of ethics should be considered when doing business with anyone.

When you see all the WebAir butt kissing on this board, it's obvious many Webair clients don't know or don't care whether they are Spam Support business or not.

The fact that they also service some of the worst, low-life, bottom feeders in the industry that have been terminated by more ethical ISPs is a bit disturbing and never seems to be mentioned.

Still though - I don't talk shit about nobody unless they fucking deserve it. And I've had my run-ins with Mike @ Webair and the people at Quickbuck for their lack of professional ethics in dealing with spammers. Shit, if I ran a hosting company that serviced so many spam people...I'd have great service too.

So everyone who starts a thread about a hosting company being down is a newbie. I came home to see that all was down, the support didnt reply yet and calling it is a bitch. So I went to see if anyone else was having problems with their sites.

its always some guy on a virtual trying to bad mouth a well respected hosting company, always.

i HAVE NEVER SEEN someone on dedicated come here and cry about their box being down. anytime my host was down, I can recall there was ample 3 week warning for hardware upgrade couple years back, any other little dns glitch or whatever, I call and its taken care of, not to mention live support.

Shit I blew up a HD and when i called them they alreasy knew about it and were in the middle of replacing it before i even told em about it........

Step 3: Tell the customer support person the problem.

And you're good to go!

Explain more please . First you say its a server being down then you say its a DNS issue.....
