I'll start counting them now. I'll let you know how many I find.

It depends how you count the number of TGPs
IMO, if a tgp is not on some tgp submitter list, it does't exist
so you can say 1.5-2K TGPs and about 10-15 gallery submitters -including the one I wrote for personal use :)

some PROGRAMS have 1000's of front ends which techinically would each be a paysite

Easy 300k+ there is so many sponsors out there, so many partnership programs nobody has ever heard of, on top of that there is many sites which hardly get any traffic but they are still paysites.

yes, there are a few sites for many of the niches and thats because a lot fo them are original sites with brand names like for teen www.YoungPorn.com , www.HardcoreTeens.com , www.TeenAgePorn.com , etc.... and we promote them seperately as much of the public have heard of these sites and have confidence that they will get the content they are looking for and join....brand name sites do better than hereisanotherteensite.com :-)

Easily about 100k. Just ask the folks at CCBill, IBill, Epoch, Jettis and defintiely Verotel. You would have a pretty close to accurate figure.

lol, it is not that easy to set up a paysite...
well, maybe it's easy, but not as easy as to make a gallery or free site promoting sponsors.
Most webmasters don't have paysites.
