Banner and SIG design contest. 600 Dollars in prizes
 

Ok, CJ Bucks will finally be buying a banner spot on GFY again. Lord knows that I?ve pulled enough business from this board I owe more to Lensman than just being respectful and buying a banner spot.

That said, we are holding a contest at we?ll be giving 400 dollars to the Flash Banner 624x80 winner and 200 dollars to the static banner 468 X 60 winner.

On both banners we want to get as many of the following ideas across:

1. We?ll do anything to get your business.
2. Up to 35 dollars per trial join
3. Up to 75% revenue share
4. Hosted Galleries
5. Free content and hosting
6. Great converting reality sites
7. From the makers of Consumption Junction
8. Sound on the Flash banner, please

10. WE WOULD PREFER SOMETHING CONTROVERSIAL THAT GETS ATTENTION!

I?ll be picking the winners on Sunday night. We?ll have to right to use any of the banners submitted but only the winners will be used on GFY.

This banner would look alot better if I animated those little jumping and handstand guys (..will do ANYTHING to get your business :))..

Are they encouraged or allowed to use unlicensed music?

First crack. Not sure it's ready for primetime but I'll put a version up now to serve as a bump.

I'll probably try other versions with some color shifts and a different tagline since that part is pretty hit-or-miss. Basic delivery method won't vary much.

Also, does file size matter at all? This comes in at a pretty low 11K but is there an upper-end?

best thing to get a lot of attention would be to STEAL someone elses banner design say one for topbucks or ars and link that fucker to cjbucks you would sure get noticed ;)

What's right with this? You attempted to be controversial. You are the first one that actually read the ALL CAP description in my original post.

What's wrong with it? You aren't using my brand colors, images or logos.


Also, is anyone going to submit a flash banner? Someone asked above about unlicensed music. I'd prefer something original and attention grabbing.

Looks like a banner from Make Fucking Money which is a different sponsor program.

Closer. I don't think this is the best looking banner that I've seen but at least you attempted to use our brand feeling.

Colors look good on this one. I just don't think it stands out enough. Also, I like making muslims angry as much as the next guy but your reference isn't making any particular point as angry muslims don't convert. Or do they?

An interesting play on Muslims would be the use of a U.S. soldier and "send us traffic or this guy dies". LOL that would be controversial.

This one doesn't look anything like our brand. It looks more like a TCG 3.0 banner than a CJ Bucks banner.

That's the first flash entry that we've seen. I hope we see more. I don't mean to sound insulting but it is pretty amatuerish. I'm looking for something more professional.
