Clickcash.
 

So I've been using Clickcash since late 99, and have always done very well with them (avg 1/50 conversion).

But what has always concerned me is when they change base payouts.

Everytime they change the base payout, I do very well the first week/two weeks of the change, then all of a sudden my hits go to 1/2-2/3 of what they were, and continue the trend until the next time they decide to up the base payout.

This generally effects my overall signups, since obviously I am getting less traffic.

Anyway, I had a friend of mine test a few theories. He went to one of my sites that I don't promote so I could easily track, and viola I could see the log of his IP, but never a commission or record of him signing up.

This is not the first time either. I have tried this the last two times they raised the minimums when I feared I was losing signups.

So I started using Epic Cams, and bam I have my traffic back with better conversions.

I was just curious if anyone else has had any similar experiences with them?

You only got the "shave" option - you should be glad you didn't get the special "shave + term"... :Graucho

I would have expected better from Clickcash. I mean, if they're gonna shave then they should at least relax on the mailing rules.

I've had good results with Clickcash overall, but have noticed a dropoff on conversions as of late. However, I've had worse results with that Epiccam style site you're talking about. (Weg has they're own version, and it doesn't pay even close to to CC)

Bottomline tho, Clickcash is a steady check!

I never thought of it as "shaving" but you are absolutley correct =)

The last two weeks have been crap with CC.

On a "normal" week I convert around 1:200. These last two weeks 1:2500. These bad weeks are happening a little too often for me to bother with them anymore. But its those "normal" weeks at $40 a signup that keeps me being a sucker to them.

I've also noticed every time they raise the base payout the hit count goes down a bit. Every time I get the email about them raising payouts I cringe instead of being excited.

they used to kick ass for me,(1 in 75) but for a while now they haven't converted worth a shit for me. I haven't had a signup with them in the last 3000 clicks.

My paychecks have also been cut in half the last two weeks with them. They must have turned up the shave-o-meter to high.
Then as soon as I am about to switch they turn it back down.
