A question on payment methods

I'm looking at ARS payment options and am wondering what's the difference between a direct deposit and a wire transfer.

Can a European webmaster use the Direct deposit option?

I mean a 20 bucks fee or no fee is still more profit :)

I'm pretty sure one of you fine webmasters here knows, and can enlighten me :)

Cashing cheques cost an arm and a leg around here.
If that is the case the wire option is cheaper(not to mention more reliable)
