bret 04-21-2004 10:57 PM

yeah. you can get 4x the work done with duals. once you go to a dual setup, you will NEVER want to go back. kinda like dial-up and broadband...

AkiraSS 04-21-2004 11:06 PM

which graphics card you use for dial monitors?

The Truth Hurts 04-21-2004 11:10 PM

Matrox P650 Dual-DVI

sake 04-21-2004 11:10 PM

whatd u change? i have screwed with settings & not had much luck

Stewie 04-22-2004 02:12 AM

Dual monitors look sweet, but I've never sat down and played on a system that had them. Outside of the "cool factor", what are the real performance/work enhancements you have seen using dual?

BiggleJones 04-22-2004 02:14 AM

Video editing and Photoshop are great with dual monitors.....put all your tools on one and have the whole other for your workspace....and you can have 2 fullpage browser hahahahahahas at once.

It is awesome, when I design I am able to browse the clients memberareas and stuff at the same time to see what I can use etc. Can't imagine going back to one again :glugglug

Nice flat monitors :thumbsup

Wrestlingdiva 04-22-2004 07:34 AM

Blah, I am using my 12 inch laptop screen. I can set up dual monitors but havent had the xtra cash to spend on one yet.

I am trying to convince my boyfriend to let me set up his mac at my house so I can play with that.

Hell my laptop cost less then the monitor I want. (but hey I did buy this thing for 200 bucks)

Designing on this kinda sucks, because if I don't keep my screen at the highest resolution possible its blurry as hell, but at the highest resolution things look very small.

fktup 04-22-2004 07:46 AM

dualies are the only way to go.

I run dual 21" Dell Trinitrons

Jakke PNG 04-22-2004 07:50 AM

I have a basic ctr screen. Samsung SyncMaster 957p. I think it's 19"

kowntafit 04-22-2004 09:01 AM

Damn those dual monitor setups look sweet, double the radiation. :winkwink:

I use a 17" Sun crt, just a toy compared to what you guys have but it has a very good picture. I have never really used anything bigger so this seems pretty big to me. :winkwink:
