Daddy says No to SD Chargers

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfldraft/d...ory?id=1787271

nothing makes me laugh more then when parents control their kids in the pros....

I don't care who daddy is, let JR or JR's agents do the talking.

This is almost as good as Clarett's mommy saying no to the combain.

:1orglaugh

Roethlisberger is a better QB anyways. He should be going first! :thumbsup

Exactly. John Elway was in all likelyhood headed to the Colts. He was not having any part of that and put up a stink. In hindsight i would say it was a good decision :1orglaugh

If you were among the top talent coming out of college how would you feel about going to a crapass organization without a line?
Big Daddy Manning is just looking out for his pup, as he was in similar shoes when he was fixin to be drafted many moons ago...

Archie needs to chill a little bit. The NFL of today is not the NFL of his day. When teams were bad back then, they tended to stay bad because there wasn't as much player movement as there is today with free agency. Archie's memory must be a short one. When eldest son Peyton was drafted by the Colts, they were abysmal. Now they're a couple of defensive players away from being a legitimate Super Bowl contender, and Peyton just inked a monster contract extension.
All that being said, Eli is way overrated IMO. He's good but not a franchise changer.

all true. however, who could blame Eli's dad for wanting to help place his son where they feel it is a better fit?

Fuck them both... If the Giants don't pony up 2 1st rounder (1 this year) and there 2nd rounder (the year) plus Strahan.. Then we (Chargers) need to pick his ass and let him sit out the 3-4 years till he can become a free agent.. Let call his fuckn bluff.... What Archie is Eli pimp now..
