In-flight Internet: some cutting edge stuff
?I think Boeing is at the cutting edge of what is probably going to be the next breakthrough in in-flight amenities,? said aviation consultant Mike Boyd. ?It may get to a point where for business travelers, they won't go on an airline that doesn't have it.?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- full story this is long overdue. Boeing will make a fortune with this. :2 cents: |
I am flying with LH over to frankfurt on Friday, wonder if they have it ? The travel agent is checking right now:winkwink:

I cant wait, it will make flights less boring!
|
I used Verizon Jet Connect on my Continental Flight back from San Diego... 5.95 for the duration of the flight. Playing Games, ICQs, AIMs, emails, news, etc made the flight fly by. No pun intended.

I wonder how much they're thinking of charging for it :(

That's fucking awesome. When I flew to Europe a few months ago the planes all had electrical outlets, TVs with a bunch of movies, video games, etc. It was the greatest 10+ hour flight I've ever taken. In flight internet on commercial airlines would be awesome.
