WTF Is up with ICQ these days?
 

I made the biggest mistake in updating ICQ to the new version then going going to lite version and the lil fucker still wont connect up....

Why the fuck did they change a good working product...

I wake up this morning after cleaning some shit off my main pc and the dam thing is yellow flower again meaning fucker disconnected when Its set to not drop connection so I wait 15 min, 30 min etc and now its gonna be like fucking all dam day becuase if you try start it a couple times then says now you have to sit in the corner and wait even longer to connect if it even would.

WTF Does a cracka haveto do to get icq to fucking connect....

Dude I had the same problem! OMG it sucked!!!

I removed icq like 5 fucking times!

I e-mailed ICQ support and 2 days later they got back to me. It actually sounds like it's a problem with the icq servers connecting to your icq. Also it might be because you have too many people on your contact list.

So delete me and a few others and you should be fine :winkwink:

DH, I went into the contact list folder under c:/ then program files edited the contact list text files since i cant do it the normal way once online.... is that the same process you did?

Also did you just edit the text files in the contact list folder or also the contactlist .fb file?

Who needs icq when you got the speedy www.usps.com to deliver your msgs for you. As for trillian, yeah it would be nice if it would get a current contact list.....ive concluded all messenger programs just lick fuckin dogass.
