I don't even know why they bother with these briefings, it only makes the government look worse.

Almost every question a reporter asks they avoid giving a real fuckin' answer, with a bunch of bullshit that they've repeated 20 times already.

Sounds like regular politics to me - hide the truth from the people, but make them feel like they are in control; atleast once every 4 years......around election time perhaps?

That's what politicians do nowadays.

Did you watch any of the democratic debates?

Not a single question was answered by anyone that actually had a chance...

Sharpton, Braun, Kucinich answered questions... the rest were like car salesman trying to sell you a Ford Pinto.

As george carlin says - this is the best we can do. They're everyday people that just chose that line of work...they're not genetically altered to be lying bastards, they're just lying more often in the public eye.

I didn't say that - but politicians aren't the only people lying to you. Don't be naive and think they're the only people lying to your face. They just believe that it's in your best interest to do so.

You are lied to everyday, not just by politicians. Look at drug commericals, car commericals, warning labels etc. Do you know everything they say is a lie? I think the best way to say someone is lying is do research and provide proof.

Also do you notice how the reporters all ask the same question over and over and over again just rephrasing it all the time? Maybe thats why they keep giving the same answer.
