How long/close you sign up for a trade show ?
 

Actually I never book my things (flight, hotel) for Vegas before November or December.. And I sign up for the show at the door...

So I would like to know the "tendance" of the Industry ..

Even for a show that you are 100% sure you are attending, how long/close to the show dates are you signing up ?

After I seen so long waiting lines at Internext, am I right saying that 75% are signing up at the door ?

I'd say a month.

one month is always good, I usually know by then if I'm going or not. I also tend to book the flight and hotel at the same time so signing up foir the show makes sense.

Usually I sign up at the door cause if I can't go at the last minute (familly issue, health problem, etc..) my flight and hotel are insured and I can get a refund, but not on my show passes...

150 USD for us is about 200 some cdn, so it is pretty annoying losing it :)

I usually get my hotel and airfare early, that way I can get the best deals and get the dates that I want.

Passes, I usually wait on those so I can either Win them (Thanks YNOT!) or take advantage of an amateur discount if they come out with it.
