Disadvantages of buying a shell corp?
 

I am thinking of buying a shell corporation in Deleware, and was wondering if anyone could point out the disadvantages of this.

Any help would he appreciated.

why not go off shore - better solution all together

'buying' ? as in purchasing an existing corp, or creating your own from scratch for your corporation's existing subsidiaries?

Purchasing an existing corporation.

No real disadvantage other than branding issues. They cost a bit more but you don't have to wait the same amount of time as registering your own corp.
