Do you have bull Shit by-laws that fuck you over for parking tickets?

i get parking tickets regularly.

45 bucks a pop, and thats parking right outside my apt. can only park on certain sides of the street during certain days, sometimes i mix days up heheh

I use to get them all the time when I live downtown. It use to be that it was no big deal I was in my early 20's so I just collected them and never paid. Then someone got the smart idea to make it a bad debt and turn you over to the credit beaura and boot your car if it is on the road and has outstanding parking tickets. Since at the time the registration was my parents address the notice for the $2,339.30 came to them. They have not let me live it down

I went down and worked out a setlement for $1,500 and paid it off.

FUCK los angeles is fucked up that way, the most frequent tickets i get are like Fletch XXX mentioned
the second kind i get are ones from road construction and they post new signs up covering up the sign that was already there.... yet the damn parking peeps still enforce both!

If you look at it very carefully, its cheaper to get tickets , than to pay for parking. My total for last year was about $260 Cdn and I park where I want. You dont get a ticket every time. Just have to make sure its not a tow away zone. Go and park in the pay lots, see how far that money gets you:2 cents: :winkwink:
