Battle scenes sucked ass, they left out the entire part where William Travis draws the line in front of the chapel and asks whoever wishes to stay and die to cross the line. Movie was too long, hardly any battle scenes. Sucked ass I'm disapointed since I grew up in San Antonio. :mad:

all they show is battle scenes in the previews, is that all there is ?:(

There shouldn't be an alamo movie. If anything it should be a tragedy film.

There's hardly any battles. The first 2 attack the Mexican army made they totally left out, replaced it with a few cannon fires and that's it. John Waynes (sp?) version was way better than this.

I loved it. But I didn't grow up having the story shoved down my throat. I guess if I was a texan I'd have a different perspective.

Yeah they left out a lot of BIG stuff, most of us Texans know about the Alamo.

I grew up in San Antonio as well. Nice to see someone else around repping the Tower of Americas. Anyway...THEY DIDNT SHOW THE LINE IN THE SAND!??! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HOLLYWOOD?! that's a pivotal plot point! How could they miss that!? did it not happen in real life? or are the hollywood execs just fuckin' stupid?

I fell asleep at the first 1/3 of the movie.. then I woke up.. It wasnt that great.. too long also...

it's something more for native san antonio people. and even something more for people who had family that died there.

I got some friends that go to state there, it's a kick ass little town, everyones friendly there.

all i said was if you are looking for historical fact, you are not going to find it in a hollywood production, what did you expect?
