iBill Operations Update

We are currently experiencing intermittent network issues due to a denial of service attack. Our network security team is working with our ISP to resolve this issue in a timely manner.

You may notice intermittent issues with pay pages, CMI and email.

If you need assistance please call us at (800) 764-4266 or (954) 363-4949. We will do our best to assist you as we are also having difficulty accessing CMI.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the Netbilling problems today....

Yeah... though it's sadly not really in their control. I'm not sure how possible having two seperate NOC locations, not cost wise, but security of information and keeping speed there.

Cheers,
Matt

uhh they are/were down too.

MarkIBill 04-20-2004 07:45 AM

Shakta, everything should be back to normal by now. We were able to address most of the issues after a couple of hours yesterday. We had some international IPs that our ISPs were still blocking until this morning but transaction counts look to be back to normal as of this morning. Please feel free to contact me or [email protected] if you are having any issues.

Thanks Mark for keeping us informed :)

They were alright with me, the only thing they could improve upon atleast when I was with them was their customer service. If I lived in the states and not in canada I would be with them today.

Agreed, but if someone is targetting IBill, they likely will target all of IBill's servers no matter their location, so it's just a matter of having the right procedures to immediately deal with any possible situation.

Cheers,
Matt
