Girls are paid decently, a helluva lot better than in any other part of the U.S. or anywhere else in the world but the problem with them is they spend the money as fast as they make it, girls who make 20 grand a month always broke.

Unfortunetaly it's the same for every other industry. The last report I read was that is that people in my Province are now saving only 3% of their income on average compared to 12% a decade ago. I'm sure the same thing goes for other states and provinces.

I grew up poor and had to work my ass off for everything I wanted and sometimes for things I needed. .. i babysat all the time and would hoard the money under my bed.. i would exchange it in for $100 bills when i would get enough. Once it got to the $100 bill status i was intent on collecting as many of them as I could.. my dad freaked at the amount of money i had stashed.. he even borrowed from me a time or two. My piggy bank is hidden in my house now.. i only put silver coin and loose dollar bills I find around the house..no pennies allowed.. once it gets full it goes on my vacations and camping fund.. its pretty low now though..lol

In our house we worked for every dime we got. It's called work ethic and it's clearly lacking when you've got a chick that whines for money on a board and gets it.

People need to realize when girls come to LA and strip only, guys want to be their friends, and hang out. Robin may be right when she estimates what this industry takes in, but what she fails to grasp osd the talent are for the most part, the bottom of the bucket, like it or not. The content is just ONE fraction of what it takes to make money here.

The girls dont make NEARLY as much as the prducers do. How could they? So while the bisuness may be doing great 10+ B/year etc - this has absolutely NOTHING to do with how talent are, and what they make.

This industry is BASED on the exploitation and "ghet her to do what you can" attitude.

What this industry takes in, really has nothing to do wth the talent, as they are only the product on the shelf, where are the production and distribution is sometinmes what makes the product, not the girl. Although the girl is very important.

I shot a 19-year old who'd done quite a few features for big companies...she was saving everything, had just bought her first piece of real estate....had more respect for her than any other girl i've met on the "talent" side...she was good in front of the camera too :)

That's a little oversimplified. She doesn't think the low level people who lost their jobs at the Stern show are worrying about money? No one besides the talent, hahahahahars, and executives make and money in tv and radio, if their whole crew was put out of work without notice one day I'm sure a lot of them would be in trouble.
