Possible stupid question about spam...
Can anyone tell me why the headers of all these goddamn spam mails Im receiving are just jibberish?
There's: "bronchi dowager ecosystem lynchburg suction save transmittable bucknell retina affectionate millennium" and then: "food calvary mung punitive confrontation chimeric amoeba nagging flexible alcohol condense delicious denotative shun fiftieth pansy fitzgerald posey compactify counterproposal cortex metro dross pvc blackball growth familism grew roosevelt" (WTF...Mung?? Isnt that from Southpark?! I didnt think it was a real word...) I've never really been involved in spam or paid too much attention to it, so I apologize if this is a really obvious question. I always assumed it was something to do with keywords, and slipping their mail passed spam filters - but thats was just a guess, I honestly have NO idea. Can anyone enlighten me? |
Each mail gets a different header, making it harder to ban emails based on it.

Gotta give them credit for being creative in beating the filters.
