Spiders in Iraq
 

They run 10 mph, jump three feet, are a nocturnal spider, so only come out at night unless they are in shade. When they bite you, you are injected with Novocain so you go numb instantly. You don't even know you are bitten when you are sleeping, so you wake up with part of your leg or arm missing because it has been gnawing on it all night long. If you are walking around and you bump something that is casting a shadow over it, and the sun makes contact with it, you better run. It will instantly run for your shadow, and scream the whole time it is chasing you.

PS. The one on the bottom is eating the one on the top. These are spiders found daily in IRAQ by troops. Imagine waking up and seeing one of these in your tent!?

I woke up today, turned the computer on and had a message waiting for me with that pic. It fucking freaked me out!

They are huge, but actually, non-venomous, they don't scream nor jump several feets in the air...and they only eat insect or small scorpion...kinda like the desert praying mantis...

No, that article is false, what I posted is true. They are actually space spiders from a desert world, and they will eat you while you sleep.

I would dig a moat around my tent and fill the moat with bug poison, and fog the area with raid every night.

Although they are really big that camera angle makes them look gigantic. Most of the time they are about the size of an average persons hand.

there are spiders just as big if not bigger in Australia
fortunately they are in the desert and we don't get them in the cities .... yet

the minute they do come to cities im fucking migrating!!!

black widows are much smaller and more deadly, we find those here.

black widows are in most garages across socal ;)

Funnelwb are nasty - bite will kill you easily
but they are not all that aggressive
last place we lived they were EVERYWHERE and I MEAN everywhere
we always had them in our rooms everynight we'd have to check under the beds, behind doors, flip back the bed sheets real quick
i swear there were just hundreds of them in the building
one day Firehorse took to tryign to kill them and i swear he must have gone around the buliding for at least 4 hours trying to spray them all and he still couldnt kill them all they just kept coming.

Add to that we had Wolf Spiders and Red Bellied Black Snakes - needless to say we only lived there just over one month - we moved!!

Another reason to never viist Iraq! :glugglug
