AIDS drama hits german NewsPapers
 

Just read about the Darran HIV drama even in my local german newspaper.

The story is pretty straight with facts but a little dramatized as well.

This got pretty big in the mainstream news,I'm not shocked about it, but still interesting to see it takes about one week until every 'non-scene' reporter has the facts together.

One main part of the article was that only 17% of all productions use condoms,cause movies without sell better.

I'm curious when this will hit the TV stations :(

Curious as well to see if it will be a theme that will be talked about on the upcoming AOE Event.

I really hope the industry regulates itself before any government does. :2 cents:

We have no plans to dicuss this issue in the formal conferences at AOE, as the programmes have been worked out before this story developed.

However, it is clearly an important (and tragic) topic and I have no doubt that it will be discussed around the show floor and in networking events.

when i scanned some german channels last night, i saw some report on SAT1, i think.

how did they describe double anal ?

I still find the Sun 'news'paper in the UK's decription of it as 'unnatural sex' amussing.

The news is really getting its way around...

I meant the showfloors and parties in the first step,but when you mention the formal conferences - it would be indeed an idea to have an open discussion with producers,performers and all people involved, since this concerns us all in one way or another.

They did not mention the double anal,the article mentioned it as intercourse with Darren.

Another mentioned it as 'sexual contact' - I guess mainstream newspapers here in Germany won't ever mention as what it is called really.
