Bob Woodward: Bush having Saudis manipulate U.S. oil prices for election campaign
Anyone watching 60 Minutes?
|
the Saudi's are manipulating the oil prices in order to help Bush get kicked out. They are all scared he's going to go after their oil.

I'm sure there doing everything they can to keep bush from re-election. They must know there next? |
Bob Woodward is trying to sell a book. Just like Richard Clarke.
|
I'm writing a book about GFY
|
perhaps he needs low priced oil to keep the black helicoptors flying that feed all the tin foil hat conspiracy nuts out there?
|
wouldn't surprise me. The Saudis are great manipulators and have good relations with pretty much every US president, especially the Bush's.
|
bush is saudi arabia's bitch

And Bush is trying to steal another election. |

What about the bible, that's also a book. :1orglaugh Maybe that's why right wingers seem a little slow - they don't read books? :1orglaugh |

Sure... nothing we want more than the Saudis picking our next President when they know the people here are just reactionary and don't often look at the big picture.
I think a bunch of you Bush bashers are just suckers doing exactally what some outside influences like this are wanting you to do. Probably nothing the terrorists like to see more than us turning againt the President right now. anyway... just my :2 cents: you guys can start your name calling now..... |
Quote:
Ohhhh... and I thought it was so we wouldn't have to depend so much on the Saudis and the Middle East for our needs in the US. What a silly idea. |

You're talking about the guy who cracked the watergate scandal and tied it to the white house. (He won a Pulitzer for that BTW) This guy does his homework. |

60 Minutes is produced and aired on CBS
CBS is owned by Viacom Woodward's book is being publsihed by Simon & Schuster Simon Schuster is owned by Viacom :1orglaugh However, Bob Woodward is the most credible journalist in Washington. He's got the inside track with a lot of the most elite power players there. The price of oil WILL come down right before the election. That was part of the deal with the Al-Saud family. |
Quote:
You don't know the first thing about the house of Saud do you? They and there Kuwaiti friends have always been every super power's bitch starting during the Ottoman empire. |

KRL well said.
Heywood Jablome, apparently you have nothing intelligent to add to the conversation and all you can do is make smart ass remarks since you have no facts to back up your position....that's a great debate strategy :1orglaugh |

This guy is nuts
Bush told Woodward that he was driven by God, and that he did not talk to his dad because he had a "higher father". |
Bush is a War Criminal.

Isn't it funny how whenever a book or news column we agree with comes out its "good journalism" and whenever something we don't agree with or like comes out its "propaganda"?

Let me educate you since obviously you have no clue whats going on in the world. One purpose of The Clean Air Act is to force power plants that use COAL to produce electricity to limit the amount of air pullution they produce. It has nothing to do with Saudi oil. Bush stopped the EPA from investigating any power plant that is violating the Act. I'm sure you think this is a great idea since you believe the greenhouse effect means better gardens. |

King George's father works for the Saudis for those of you that don't know. It's typical for top US officials to get jobs with the countries that they have helped the most during their time in office. They work under corporations that are essentially owned by the government of whatever country it may be.

Woodward also claims that the Bush administration misappropriated funds meant for the war in Afghanistan and then lied to Congress about it.
Hard to believe that he would make something like that up- It would be way too easy to disprove it if it wasn't the truth. Plus,he has audio tapes of all his interviews and 60 Mins. reviewed them before airing the story, just to cover their own asses. This will certainly be investigated and then we'll find out who is lying. Can you spell IMPEACHMENT ??? |

...reminds of a thing George Carlin did about drivers. How people that drive faster than you are idiots and people who drive slower than you are fools. We had a lot of school consolidation here in the 90's. Same thing there, if "you" went to a school they were going to close it awful. If they were closing one you didn't go to, it was progress. |
Quote:
Unfortunately it seems lying about the reasons to go to war and sending in troops under false pretenses isn't an impeachable offense. Lying about getting a blowjob on the other hand...... |
