Why is going to hell bad?
 

According to the bible I am sinner and a grave one at that.

So why is bad that I am going to go to hell? All my friends will be there, I don't mind it at all, we'll keep on sinning

According to the Catholic Church if you repent on your Death Bed. All sins will be forgiven instantly and you'll go to heaven...

Actually, most of the incidents of the word "hell" in the bible are actually mistranslations. The actual word used in the original hebrew is sheol. It means a pit in the ground. And the hades thing is quite confused by the references to gehenna. The research on it is quite interesting, but all those christians that fear eternal damnation should do some research on it.

They say hell is much much worst than your worst nightmare come true. Some people picture hell to be a bad place where you can't get out of once you reach it.
