Condoms in all Porn

Maybe it's not good for content or whatever, but I think it would save lives and encourage safe sex

Whadda yall think?

bcooter 04-18-2004 11:08 AM

wont happen

Weppel 04-18-2004 11:09 AM

There's a consistent demand for no-condom porn, so it will never happen..

Doctor Dre 04-18-2004 11:10 AM

Will never ever happen .... we just need safer regulations

Peter Romero 04-18-2004 11:13 AM

I agree and adhere - as a performer, talent manager & producer. But, I'm in the minority - trust me. Maybe no-one will admit it publicly, but it will sway thier choices I'm sure. It still doesn't matter to me, unless the talent is manogomous couples and have full panel tests - I only shoot condoms from here on out. Hit me up if you need custom content shot for you.

Lykos 04-18-2004 11:13 AM

U should read what Paul Merkham told about that yesterday...
don't have time to hahahahaha it down again....
did formula 1 stooped after couple dayings during the years?
There is an answer...

Orgasmics 04-18-2004 11:25 AM

Sadly enough, I don't think it will ever become madatory either.

What I think would be a bit more realistic is this...
Anyone that chooses to have condom free sex should be required to hear the facts & statistics (either in a class type setting or one on one at a place like AIM) and should have proof that they have done this. They need to be educated on the effectiveness of condoms and the fact that testing won't always show positive results, even if the person is already infected and able to infect others.

In addition, these people should be required to sign something before every shoot, stating that they are aware of the risks and if they do end up contracting some sort of disease, they can't sue other actors, agents or producers and will also not be eligible for financial aid to treat the disease. They shouldn't be able to waste tax payers money because they were willing to take the risk.

It needs to happen but won't until every single porn performer who doesn't use protection contracts HIV

That's the typical law-oriented american solution.

You cannot tell me any young adult has not received lots and lots of information about STDs.

I mean: it's like drinking 1 gallon of coke for 20 years and then complaining about being fat. Everybody KNOWS that this is not healthy. And every adult knows that fucking without condom carries some health risks. And fucking without condoms every other day with many different partners carries a high risk. They already KNOW it.

Just my :2 cents:

It won't become mandatory unless the government steps in. Even then, plenty of companies will outsource or film elsewhere to get around the new regulations. Bareback porn will always be shot because that's what most buyers prefer to see.

but then there wouldn't be a need for the condoms if everyone already had it ;-)

maybe the alternative will be having HIV positive performers work together with each other...

MetaMan 04-18-2004 11:35 AM

it doesnt need to happen! stop dealing with coked out losers who have the iq of a small bus.

you'd be surprised at how many young adults really aren't that well educated on the risks....

I was reading this morning :
Connelly said the 20 percent of hard-core companies that use condoms in their movies might continue filming. Though it's universal in gay male pornography, condom use in straight pornography is rare because producers "believe it's more marketable without it," Connelly said.

If it works in gay porn why cant it work in straight? I bet when they put condoms on gay porn everyone cried its the end of gay porn and gay seems to be doing very well.

I see your point.. but that's kinda evil. At leaast after considering the fact that you're making money on them taking that risk.

I totally agree. I believe they all know the risks, but when they contract something they try to play the innocent "I didn't know" card. Even in Lara's interview, she said she thought a clean test from the person she was working with meant she would be safe, now she's being portrayed as an "innocent victim". By being educated and signing something before the no condom shoot, they ADMIT that they know the facts and risks and in turn, shouldn't be able to make a dime off of it... by sueing or getting their medical paid for.

but I didn't tell them to not wear a condom... I don't want these people to not wear condoms. I would rather make my money off of condom porn... but for now, I can't weed through all the content to find all the condom only shoots.
