Well, it's that time again to raise money for stuff...

They've been running by my building for just over an hour now...

Young and old.... running, walking, wheelchairs.... everyone is taking part (except for a few lazy people like me).

They've even got a band across the street playing the same song over and over and over again..... the runners don't really hear it more than once I guess. Those of us who live here do.

Thats funny; I was debtating why they had the rackets as well a minute ago outside. Someone said so they can find each other at the ned of the race amongst the sea of people.

Canada's biggest and best community run celebrates its 20th anniversary on Sunday, April 18 at 9 am.

The Vancouver Sun Run is the second largest 10K in North America. The 2004 Sun Run is expected to attract an estimated 50,000 plus participants. 49,743 Sun Runners participated in 2003.

He he... it would suck to have to run with those. I guess they own the business or are getting paid though.

Should have done that earlier.... I think we're down to the older, out of shape crowd now.

There isn't a single person running left, just the walkers. And most that I see, I don't really want a kiss from.

I'm 39 and horribly out of shape. This is my kind of demographic we are talking about out there now.:winkwink:

They pick different charities every year to raise money for, this year it's the raise-a-reader and BC amateur atheletes.

But sometimes it's the youth centers, cancer centers.... and so on.

It's a larger and larger success every year it happens, for 20 years now. :thumbsup
