Well, it's that time again to raise money for stuff...

They've been running by my building for just over an hour now...

They've even got a band across the street playing the same song over and over and over again..... the runners don't really hear it more than once I guess. Those of us who live here do.

But hey, at least the woman on the violin is hot :glugglug

From their website www.sunrun.com:

"Since 1985 Sun Runners over $1 million has been raised for designated causes.

This year your entry will support The Vancouver Sun's Raise-a-Reader campaign and BC's amateur athletes. Organizers expect to raise $50,000 for Raise-a-Reader in 2004."

And they're still going by in one big huge ass crowd....

I meant to say banjo in my other post, but I'm typing with one hand after seeing the violinist and the j is on the wrong side of the keyboard. :Graucho

Thats funny; I was debtating why they had the rackets as well a minute ago outside. Someone said so they can find each other at the ned of the race amongst the sea of people.

I am tempted to go back out front with a sign saying "Free Kisses & Lemonade" and seeing how that goes.

Stuart, lets do it; I'll pour the lemonade and you do the kisses.

Should have done that earlier.... I think we're down to the older, out of shape crowd now.

There isn't a single person running left, just the walkers. And most that I see, I don't really want a kiss from.

They pick different charities every year to raise money for, this year it's the raise-a-reader and BC amateur atheletes.

But sometimes it's the youth centers, cancer centers.... and so on.

It's a larger and larger success every year it happens, for 20 years now. :thumbsup

But it does allow for some great shots down the shirt.

I love that arm band / bracelette thing she has on though.
