I bet this would lead to better conversion ratios and more surfers paying for porn. I would be very happy, as I also rarely use those programs for personal use.

Napster? No, they had to liquidate and got 4 million which they had to pay out for litigation fees and such.

remember when Napster back in the day closed down?? then they re-opened (but you have to pay for it now)? well, most people just went to find another p2p software (like kazaa). and that cycle will continue over and over again.

HELLL NO! i don't think kazaa or other p2p programs should be shut down! if artists are really good, then consumers will buy their CD's/DVD's anyway. Because Kazaa quality is not really that good anyways. Kazaa is the best way for legitimate artists to advertise. In a free and open democratic society, Kazaa should be embraced not banned. :2 cents:

well i just recently downloaded some music from Lite,but I will give it to ya that it took hours to find and it was reallly slow. It seems like lite is dying a slow death just like Napster and Morpheus. now on to the next one. i'm gonna download direct conect now! Thanks :pimp

There's always going to be P2P. If its not Kazaa it'll be something else. The key is to make P2P work for you by spreading promotional materials around on there cleverly. If they can pick up a few pieces of your content and like it, the chances are you can capitalize...

Where am I gonna get my music/movies then?

Back in high school before P2P it sucked, kids charging $10 for a burned CD of a cam rip of the newest released movies. Or CD rips from IRC channels and FTPs a week before the CD came out.

A few friends of mine were making BIG money off their CD burners and DSL connections. There was even a club in the school where teachers would let kids download on the T1 as long as they got copies of the good stuff.
