My tree is bleeding
 

Did some yardwork some days ago. Cut of some branches. It seems I did it too late in the spring, should have been done a month ago. Now the fucking tree is bleeding A LOT from the cuts.

The sap is dropping down and attracts all kind of flies and other small shit.

How the fuck should I stop it? I am total newbie to gardening :1orglaugh Anybody have any bright ideas?
