How do I unistall F*CKING win XP?????
 

I hate the crap - me want w2k! How do I do it? Sucker wont boot from the w2k cd I have...:waaaaahh

For once this actually may be the only real solution.......

boot up in real dos, delete win directory, boot.ini etc, boot up with new OS install disk.

xp is win2k just more refined. Why would you want 2k its a giant turd.

lool my friend had the same problem drive is mounted unmount frist or something like that

otherwise, backup all your shit to DVD/Tape/whatever and format.

get a hahahahahahas 98 bootdisk
put it in
install from command prompt

Really, I cant understand that argument. If there´s a turd it´s gotta be XP? I cant stand the babydoll graphics (even though there are skins and stuff) - helpless/clueless-grandma utilities and shit... + its slow...

Try booting from CD, then you get the posibility to format your drive...I don't thing you have any other option...gl

press f8
choose Dos
format c
fdisk
restart
press f1
choose boot from cd
.....................................

booting from a win 2000 CD will NOT work because you cannot install an older operating system over a newer version (i.e. 2000 over XP).

what you need to do is make a floppy of Win 2000 and boot from that, and ALSO make sure to reformat your hardrive or at least partition it and put the new operating system in a new partition. do NOT intall 2000 OVER xp....

i have done this millions of times because xp is a piece of shit. 2000 is so much better and faster. good choice!:thumbsup

the win2k cd should have dos programs to make bootdisks. i think you'll need 4 floppies.

actully you can make xp look like 2k by a few switches in the system - performace - hit the best performance switch and you got old 2k look and feel.
