Does the amount of Pay periods determine if you will promote a program?

I don't see what the pay period matters as long as it's a good program that pays you. Why would you care how often they pay each month?

Digipimp, personally I agree - as long as the program ALWAYS pays on time, it doesn't matter to me how quickly I get the money.

Although, many webmasters prefer weekly payouts, like ARS has (/shameless plug ;>) so they can get their money as quickly as possible.

i prefer weekly payouts.

Weekly or bi-weekly is what I like to see myself. But certain programs are well worth the wait even if they pay monthly. Cash Quest would be an example of that type.

I never sign on programs that pays monthly it's ridiculous to pay monthly.. everyone that pays at least 2 times per month it's ok but like everyone almost I prefer weekly payouts.

weekly or fortnightly it would be a bit hard to live on monthly payments if adult was your livelihood

I think PornDollar is the only program that pays you the day after the pay period ends.

It doesn't really matter to me. On the other hand, you'll probably never see a mainstream affiliate program paying bi-weekly. I remember when I used to use Linkshare I waited about six months to get a $100 check. Ridiculous.

Every two weeks is fine by me... I could wait a month for my cash, I would just hate to lose a months worth of sales!

It depends ... if you are stable and have money aside then 1 month won't matter to most of those people.

I dont have a problem with Nasty Dollars. Checks arrive on time every time. Same with Top Bucks.
I do like weekly best though.
