Kill Bill Volume 2

Just got back from seeing Kill Bill Volume 2. It's definitely a slower pace than Volume 1. A lot more dialogue and much less killing but overall I thought it was pretty good.

The fight scene between Uma Thurman and Daryl Hannah was sweet...all the way to the gory end :thumbsup

Can't wait to be able to see Volume 1 & 2 together.

Good that's one thing I missed from the first ... Tarantino's dialogs are the shit . Everything is so detailed

axelcat 04-16-2004 05:03 PM

I will see it tonight

It was funny hearing all the girls in the audience getting grossed out :thumbsup

Great flick! But I think I preferred Vol 1 overall, it had a very unique energy to it.

I went to the 12 pm matinee, my wife was the ONLY female there in the entire audience. I saw The Girl Next Door a few days ago, I was the only guy in the audience. Weird.

Going Tonight!

There was definitely more dialogue, but it just didn't seem Quentin's best, far from the creativity of Pulp Piction, Resovior Dogs, and True Romance.

The end showdown with Bill however was very well done.

I'll have to wait to see it on DVD, Eva refuses to watch it in the cinema, the trailor and Tarantino's reputation put's her off.

I will probably have to sit through Girl Next Door though. :1orglaugh

Saw it tonight. Worth seeing but not an amazing movie. The first one was much better.

Yeah, it was good but the first one was better.

Anyone see the preview for the new Tarantino Kung Fu Flick ?? The preview looked awesome but I can't remember the name now.

It's "Hero" starring Jet Li and it's not directed by Tarantino it's a Hong Kong flick from 2002. It's being sold as a "Quentin Tarantino Presents" film. In this case "presents" means nothing more than "liked." He had nothing to do with any phase of production. But it's still a great movie.

I just heard about the 2 additional movies from the series Including an animated prequel and a movie about the kids. Any truth to that ?

It IS kickass. You'll like it, guaranteed. It's available on DVD already as an import.

I did read where Tarantino is already planning Kill Bill Vol.3. Sophie Fatale raises Vernita Green's daughter and she seeks revenge on The Bride. He has said he won't do it for 10-15 years though. :(
