Real Estate sales is just a certification if I'm not mistaken. No degree needed.

My cousin is a broker and agent. He's also a high school drop out. Do the rules change from state to state?

Well, i know for a fact in California you have to take the Real Esate Principles Course. After that your ready to take the state exam. Then 2 years later if your taking more courses you can get your broker's licence.
