I started an adword campaign and set my bid at $2.25 and after 30 minutes was the third one down with a CTP of 1.7% on 11,000 impressions. I also managed to get it on top of the natural search results in the sponsored link area.

I hope you spelled his name right in your ads lol. See, I told you I should have been managing your compaing! You wouldn't be having these problems right now...

Google actually monitors the ads and if there are mis-spelled words they will remove your ad. Also, if you use 4 instead of four or for they really shun that. Don't hahahahaha out "Best Site 4 You" or your ad will be removed.

I use adwords almost exclusively. The reason you're campaign still isnt up is most likely because of your adult terms. Any time i make an adult campaign it takes google awhile to accept it while my non-adult ads are live within 2 minutes. They pay certain keywords for review.

And bidding $2.25 per click? Damn! I have NEVER placed a bid over 7 cents and I pull in 300+ clicks a day. I don't see how it's possible to pay so much for a click. :eek2

I'm paying roughly $1+ per click because of my CTP being relatively high. You don't pay $2.25 per click, that's only a bid and the more relavent your site is, the cheaper your per click are going to cost.

running a mainstream campaign currently, over 500 keywords, 5.6% CRT, all $.05-$.08 per. Target the damn hell out of them. Better to have 10 fitting you exactly then 1000 fitting you "sorta"

totally agree. yeah, it's kinda annoying setting up 15 different ad groups for the same link, but it does target the hell out of your ads.

they take their own sweet ass time to approve adult ads. Patience young one!
