The Knowledge of the situation is just becoming more public.:2 cents:

Very generous statement.

"Dr. Jonathan Fielding, director of public health and health officer for Los Angeles County, said the agency did not consider the HIV case a threat to public health "at this point."

"I think in general, they've done an appropriate job in terms of the quarantine measures taken," he said."

WOW! Someone giving the industry some credibility well at least saying those in charge seem to be controlling it well!
Props to them people at AIM.

You have to realize its a lot easier to quarantine something like this in our industry than it is in the real world or general public..

There is a paper trail that is easy to follow, and the public health officials couldnt have it any easier than this..

This is an ideal situation for them when it comes to quarantine and genreation tracking..

He's not being generous.. He's being truthful.

Well it does give us some insite to the "Establishments"position. Thats kinda a relief I guess.

It would benice however to require quarentine for those that go of shore for shoots or somthing though. SOmething has to change or at least another safeguard.

Condom only is pretty extreme but something will have to be done though for the future I think.

Manowar 04-16-2004 02:53 AM

not suprising, pretty big industry and has lots of intrest from the press. Jenna's companies' press release will probably get reported as she is a mainstream name now

webmaster x 04-16-2004 03:36 AM

This issue is really going to go mainstream.

stevent37 04-16-2004 03:53 AM

Generally news organizations go ut of there way not to mention the names of people that have contracted HIV unless they have permission. It covers there ass.

Mr. Marks 04-16-2004 04:17 AM

If it's news, it gets to cnn.

Probably afraid not to get negative reactions ... Maybe AIDS is shameful unless you get it thru a blood transfusion.

I heard it on XM radio this morning, its all over the news and nope they are not saying anything about the double Anal. They are talking about the guy Darren who started it all in Brazil in March.

There was a huge party in Brazil on March 6-7th.. Wonder if that was it... Damn we almost went there..

They had it on a talkshow this morning talking about that you won't know how many people actually cought it until June, they are guessing somewhere around 250-300 people

yikes
