I hear people lost all the 100's channels, and the 500's as well. The HU card is supposed to be history by the end of the month. Anyone have the P4 fixes yet ? Or did you bother to get the P4 card, before the inevitable price increase?

P4 cards are still not testable? It's been out for soo long too hmm.

I heard the same. Being up for aleast two months. Hate to see it go.

According to channel 222, non-paying customers have less than 1m 30s to replace their cards...

Yeah but most knew there was no hash in the stream; hence, any 3m would have worked. Only tier wipes. Or so I have heard:(

No "Public" P4 hack....yet. DTV is in the process of shutting down the P3 stream...as someone already said, it should happen within a month. :(

Yep HU stream is being shut down right now. Fuckers had to start with PPV and sports damnit heh. Hopefully the P4 info will be released soon.

Yep. 100's and 500's gone. Started with the 100's, the the adult channels then today the 500's ( HBO, etc...).

For myself, as of now....
I get 440-448 fine. As to 452-499 I start at 458 and am fine up to 484 (I see station not available on the missing stations) I assume because they are on another satellite.
As to the music channels I start at 802 and am fine.
620 to 654 are black.

Reports are that the channels are on a subbed P4 card.
So we shall see if this is another one of those "227" tests or not.

Fuck you guys complaining about Directv zapping your cards. If this was your content someone was hacking you would be jumping up and down screaming about how you're gonna kick their asses. It's been a fun ride.

But, for those of you that say you have video on channels that have shutdown P3 VA packets, you're nuts or you actually really have a P4 card in that receiver. I also have logged the VA packets on those channels that are now shutdown for the HU and they are only broadcasting the video key for the P4. Backward compatibility is gone and the HU cards cmd7f is gone. So there is no way an HU card can produce video on these channels:

1) 100-199
2) 579, 594, 596-598
3) 604, 620-641, 643, 645-647, 649-654
4) 721-733 (NBA), 740-752 (NHL), 754-767 (MLB)
5) 800's (Music Only on HU)

ONLY a P4/D1 card can get video on these channels. The ASIC of the HU card can no longer decode these channels. Why? Well, I'd look at alot of Rob123456 (bunch of numbers - don't remember it exactly). But he explains this process a few times in this forum...... But, I digress...

I pay for (legit) DTV.. the total choice premiere or whatever the fuck, along with NFL season pass. I have 2 TiVO's and 3 other recievers on the package. It doesn't even cost me $90/mo.

(extra recievers cost +$5/mo extra)

It really is a pretty damned good deal, $90 is cheaper than analog (digital was waaaaay higher) cable in my area w/ even less channels.

I don't really give a shit if people hack it, but man.. The amount of time spend fucking around with it they could make triple the amount it costs.

Canada has a law that they cannot watch any TV from the US because it corrupts them culturally. It is illegal for the programming to be sold in Canada so that's why so many Canadians turn to the black or grey markets to watch US programming. That's what the folks mean who post give them the opportunity to subscribe and they would.

You can buy P4 and P5 cards on EBay. No fix for the new cards for about a month it's rumoured. :(
