A former YMCA camp counselor who admitted molesting more than 40 boys underwent voluntary castration this week in Texas, the only state where the prison system allows the surgery.

A case I'm familiar with in another state, the guy got the maximum penalty (first time ever in the state), and PLEADED with the judge to have this surgery done. But they denied it, as it's "outlawed" there or whatever the fuck.

Fucked up shit, should be mandatory. Or at least "life in prison or 20 years and the surgery" or whatnot.

Yep, it should be MANDATORY castration and PEOTOMY (removal of penis). Because molestation is a crime that lasts a lifetime with the victim :(

i don't agree. plenty of men have abused children with their hands or tongues. perhaps removing the testes - which will remove certain hormones from the equation - will help.

but then again, if the problem is in your head, the only way to deal with it is in your head. if guys willing to be fucking castrated were as willing to really WORK at therapy - and a child molester has some horrible and painful issues to confront - he wouldn't keep molesting. but he would rather take the easy way out - and hope that surgery will magically fix his problem. it won't.
