I've submitted quite a few galleries for this sponsor and it's converting 1:3995 so far (I had 3 sales so far)...

Should I dump him? :helpme

who is the sponser ?

what is your normal ratio ?

How are they counting clicks?

Are you using your own tracking software?

You can send 5000 clicks to a CCBill program and convert 1:4000 with an honest click count. Yet many programs that use their own software would count no more than 15% of those clicks. As a result you'd be at 1:600 and wouldn't bat an eyelid.

In other words, if you're using a CCBill based sponsor and are converting 1:4000... you can switch to a program using their own software and convert at 1:600. But your conversions won't be any different. You know what I'm saying.

Really, it's impossible to compare programs unless you're counting your own clicks. Then you've got to wonder, if their click count is shady, how is their signup count?

Depends how much they pay per sale but I'd dump it probably.. you can definitely do better than this 1:3995 if it's good traffic.

I say switch and see how the other sponsor goes.

Did you try to contact the sponsor? I have contacted two different ones and only one has e-mailed me back, since then after they showed me what I was doing wrong I have started to see better sales! Just a thought hon.

Anyway, the traffic comes from TGP galleries that I've submitted to over 500 TGPs... I usually convert between 1:800 and 1:2000 with this kind of traffic depending on the content/site.

Also, I'm getting paid $30 per signup, but it's from a sponsor I trust (so I don't think they'll shave)...

BTW: They are hosting my galleries, so I don't have ANY bandwith costs...

Yes, I've talked to them through ICQ and they told me to do movie galleries that I'll convert better... They said that they are converting 1:600 on movie galleries...

Question is, how much is your time worth?

what niche? does your sponsor offer trials or not? if trials then the ratio is very bad and you should leave!

Are you on revshare or pay per signup? If revshare and retention is good then it could be worth to stick around a little longer and maybe tweak that traffic some more.

I was just thinking the same! If I go anywhere near 1:400, I put the program on high alert. If I wasted traffic like that, I'd be where I was 3 years ago.

I guess it all depends on the type of traffic and how the sponsor counts clicks. First page uniques at 1:400 is excellent. If you're doing 1:400 off mgp traffic, first page uniques, then you are truly a god. But mgp traffic rarley converts under 1:600 consistantly.
I also find that people with excellet traffic dont have too much of it. I seen people do 1:30 and send maybe 3 sales a day and people do 1:1500 and send 15.
I dont mean any disrespect here and I'm not doubting you, but i would really have to see it to believe it that you are converting 1:400 with mass amounts of traffic(over 10k) on a steady and consistant basis via a first page unique count.
