there was a site a long time ago with actual family circus cartoons re-captioned to be dysfunctional. the guy got sued & had to take it down. id love to find that collection tho, im sure someone still has them.

You're most likely talking about the old SpinnWebb site called the Dysfunctional Family Circus. I was a daily submitter to that site years back, one of the funniest sites on the web.

He was not sued, although King Features did threaten, a simple two hour phone call from Bil Keane made them take it down.
