Fucking mexican banks
I can't deposit USA cheques into my account.
I have to go to the states or a bank in the border (it is about 3 hrs from here) and cash the cheques there. It is becoming a real pain. Any webmasters in Mexico? |
A friend of mine is going to the US tomorrow, do you guys know if he could cash it for me? how can I endorse the cheques?
I was thinking to give him a copy of my passport and ID. Thanks |
can you receive wires originating out of USA?
Which bank do you use? Do you have to be a mexican resident? How is the house market over in mexico? the good parts where a white american and his wife could live. any websites to check them out? Im interested in moving to mexico... im sick of the usa and theyre stupid "laws" lol. |

banks wont cash your checks unless they know you *really* well or you have an account with them because of liability and credit issues. |
I know a Nigerian Businessman who may be able to help you.
I'll give him your email.. He'll be contacting you shortly. |

I used MONEX to cash my checks. Then I deposited the money into my bank account... right now I get my payments through paypal and transfer them into a savings account in the USA. I reccomend MONEX, they're one of the leading financial groups in Mexico and will give you a fair coversion rate. I checked out their website (only in spanish, sorry) and noticed they're also located in Hermosillo. This is the address: SUCURSAL HERMOSILLO Periferico Poniente y L. Donaldo Colosio (street) Edificio Galeria Comercial Metrocentro (name of building) Local 11 Y 12 (number) Col. Villa Satelite (neighborhood) C.P. 83200 Hermosillo, Sonora. TELS. (662) 260-14-99 (662) 260-17-88 (662) 260-19-10 (662) 260-22-54 (662) 260-13-05 FAX. (662) 260-40-07 http://www.monex.com.mx Good luck! :thumbsup Gaby |
About Monex, talk with one of their representatives. They'll open a account for you. To do that, you'll have to submit an ID (passport).
The advantage of having an account is that you can call them on the phone and tell them you want to cash a few checks. You tell them how much they're worth.. and they'll do the transaction right away, making it possible for you to pick up the money in 30 minutes. |

I'm from Monterrey, Mexico :)

Go to another bank and have all the services that you want. They tend to cater to thier own.

:1orglaugh Monex sounds ok, from what Gaby says. What sites do u run? Why don't you just open up a US bank account at the border? I pick up my sponsor checks every month, easy as pie. If you don't make enough to make it worth the trip, then go every 3 months, or have the checks sent to your mail teller at the US bank. Call a few banks and ask them, I am sure they will help. Also, having your checks sent to Mexico is prolly not a very good idea, as you prolly know, Mexican Mail sucks big donkey dicks. |
Thanks a lot Gaby and everybody else, I just took the chques to Monex, worked like a charm.
Thanks a lot |
