I'd vote for him. I'd much rather have Ventura in office than almost any "lifetime politician". :2 cents:

President Ventura..... sounds awesome. I know Jesse personally from a way back in his wrestling days. Hell, I'd vote for him on strength of character alone. The man is solid, he knows whats right and doesn't put up with shit. |

Hillary will win in 2008...saddam could campaign with her...osama could have an affair with her...she could fake her own kidnapping...Bill could have another affair...and she will still win

There's a special circle of Hell for adult webmasters that support Bush.
|
They may as well run a couple joke candidates for the next several decades, I think the 4 years of Bush will be enough war and poverty for Americans for a couple decades. Kerry Vs. Ventura in '08 sounds nice, Clinton Vs. Arnold in '12 would be beautiful.

I've read Jesse Ventura's book "Ain't got time to bleed - reworking the body politic from the bottom up"
I think people would be surprised on his views, to doing away with big government, to getting the government out of your life, refunds for budget surpluses and he also tells how hard it is to become elected into a position in this country without being a member of the big parties. I know people have mentioned his movies, he also was a Navy Seal who served in Vietnam, this is where he got the "body" that latar became his nickname in wrestling. Jesus I think we've all seen worse candidates, and this guy has actually seen war, and didn't sculk off to Canada, I would give him my vote. |
America isn't ready for a female president. Now if Bubba could run again, he could win.

I'd vote for him in a heartbeat - coming from someone who lives in MN, and was sorry as hell to see him leave office.
You all bitch your tired of the same shit, ventura would be the best thing to happen to this country in recent years. Republican/Democrat politics need to die a horrible fucking death, any idiot can see it's fucking up the country lately. (both parties are useless) Ventura is a very much "live and let live" type of guy, he wouldn't be going after obscenity charges like bush wants to, unless in extreme cases. And maybe he could get rid of some of the bullshit financial crap the gubment does. Of course, it's all a pipe dream. He would never have a prayer of winning due to idiots relating his movies/wrestling/whatever with his character. Stand up fucking guy in my book, and he'd get my support in a second. Watching some of his no bullshit acts in MN was a sight to behold in a horribly liberal nanny state. Hat goes off to him. Also, the year he was elected here (99?), he seriously revitalized public involvement in politics. 20somethings that had never even considered voting before, did so for the first time. Anyone that can get public involvement to reverse the trend of er.. noninvolvement can only be a damned good thing. For this country to turn itself around, your average person will have to care. Currently hardly anyone does. Shrug.. just my two cents. :) -Phil |
Dude, I voted for him. He was always attacked by the intellectual elitist, but he had a no BS policy and took care of business.
I also had the bumper sticker "My Governor can kick your Governor ass" Now I live in California and I voted for Arnold. So Governor and STILL kick your Governors ass!!!!:BangBang: BTW, I'm not sure if I would vote for him or not for U.S. President. It all depends how he campaigns. |
