How is Bush going to get out of debating Kerry?
The press conference no doubt reminded us all that Bush is a useless, bumbling child outside of pre cut speeches and recorded TV commercials. It's pretty clear that Kerry is a solid debater, a master debater if you would. Most would agree he has the advantage of Bush's terrible record on the economy, jobs, the war, the environment, etc. Kerry has already challenged Bush to a debate, do you guys think it will happen? I suspect Bush will find some excuse to not have a single debate until November.

I agree Bush would get destroyed by Kerry in a debate. Bush has a hard time fielding questions from the press even when 90% are pre-scripted questions he has the answers for. A formal debate would be a laugh.
He will have "pressing matters" to attend to would be my guess if he were to try to avoid the debate. |
Bush will debate him, when he's officially the nominee.
He'll wipe the fucking floor with Kerry, much like he did to that sighing, paper ruffling bitch that was Al Gore. |

The problem with debating Bush is that you look like you're picking on a retarded kid, no matter what you say.

this is a slug fest of words and platforms.
who wins the masses gets the highest seat. |

I've actually been looking forward to this very debate. I've seen Kerry in action with his fellow dems and he has, in my opinion, come off looking like the front-runner that he is. He is quite poised and real, has a good command of the English language and doesn't seem to fumble or mispronounce words like Mr. Bush often does.
But it will be an interesting debate, if it happens. Definitely it should happen, maybe in the fall. |
